1. Account and Profile Data

You can update account details from profile and settings screens in JOI.

Profile photo, bio, interests, and visible account details can be adjusted based on your preferences.

2. Notification Preferences

You can manage push notification preferences in JOI or from iPhone Settings.

  • Event, message, and community alerts can be managed separately.
  • Device-level notification permission can be disabled from iOS settings.

3. Location Preferences

Location permission used for discovery can be changed anytime from device settings.

  • You can fully disable location access.
  • Reducing location access may limit nearby recommendations and discovery quality.

4. Data Access and Deletion Requests

You can request data access, correction, or deletion via email.

  • Account verification may be required to process requests securely.
  • Some records may be retained for legal compliance periods.

5. Tracking and Marketing

JOI does not sell personal data for cross-app third-party advertising tracking.

Analytics data is used in a limited scope for product quality and security.
